The Access Fund: New Halem, Wa

The Vertical World Climbing Team has partnered with the Access Fund, Washington Trails Association and Wilderness Society to build another trail at the New Halem climbing area. Last year we built a really nice trail leading up to a new crag at the area. Many team families came and had a great time doing this. Recently there was a rock slide that destroyed the existing trail to an old crag at the area. We are going out there again and building a trail up to the crag. This is going to be a great time and I highly suggest that everyone gets involved.

The event is on Saturday, September 26, and the sign up information is below. We also have spots reserved at the New Halem campground for families. Please let me know if you are participating, and if you would like a campsite as well.

** Hey guys, this is Alex. I know that I will be doing this and then climbing afterwards that day, but am not entirely sure we are camping. Please come out and join this cause of building access trails to the New Halem climbing crags. The rock here is really awesome and there are a lot of fun routes, so bring your gear and shoes and come climb afterwards!
